Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to inform you about a side event that will take place
during the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) - a 2-weeks
conference that the ODIHR organizes annually in Warsaw from 28 September
to 9
October.
As you may know, HDIM conference is quite unique in its character, since
it provides NGO representatives with the opportunity to address the
issues they are concerned with on an equal footing with the
representatives of the governments. You can find more details about the

Each of the sessions during the HDIM is dedicated to a particular aspect
of ODIHR's activities. Morning session on 5 October is dedicated to
Tolerance and Non-Discrimination issues, including racism and
xenophobia.
On 5 October in the afternoon we will organize a side event for NGOs to
meet with the 3 Personal Representatives of the OSCE Chairperson in
Office on Tolerance Issues (3 pm - 6 pm, followed by a reception from
6-7 pm).
Within that meeting there will be a separate working group meeting on
racism and xenophobia with the Mr. Mario Mauro - the Personal
Representative on Combating Racism, Xenophobia and Discrimination, also
focusing on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians and
Members of Other Religions.
