Dear Colleague,
I would like to solicit your help to promote the Central European
University (CEU) summer programs on legal studies among your colleagues,
your graduate students, your contacts or any interested academics and
professionals.
The CEU Summer University (SUN) program hosts high-level,
research-oriented, interdisciplinary and innovative academic courses as
well as workshops on policy issues for professional development in the
social sciences and the humanities. The one- or two-week long courses
involve distinguished international faculty (including CEU professors),
and advanced graduate students, junior or post-doctoral researchers,
teachers and professionals as participants. Financial aid is available
(see further details on the web site).
Please find enclosed the program information on legal courses for the
summer of 2008.
Applications should be received no later than February 14, 2008, unless
stated otherwise in the announcement of a particular course.

can find all the relevant academic, application and financial

Established in 1996, CEU's Summer University program hosts high-level,
research-oriented, interdisciplinary and innovative academic courses as
well as workshops on policy issues for professional development in the
social sciences and the humanities. Courses involve distinguished
international faculty (including CEU professors), and advanced doctoral
students, junior or post-doctoral researchers, teachers and
professionals as participants. While application from all over the world
is encouraged, continued priority is given to applicants from Central
and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and countries experiencing
emerging democracies worldwide. Applicants from these countries, when
admitted on merit, will be eligible for scholarship, while those from
developed countries will usually be expected to pay fees.
