Dear colleagues,
Minority Rights Group International and Ms Kinga Gal, MEP, will be
holding an event on 'Minority Rights in the EU's Southeastern
Enlargement' in Brussels, at the European Parliament (room A5F385), on
Tuesday 20 November 2007 between 9.00h and 12.00h.
The event will look in particular at the European Commissions Progress
Reports issued earlier this month. It will examine from a minority
rights perspective the EUs assessment of minority protection and
inclusion in South East Europe.
This event is part of a project recently initiated by MRG and minority
NGOs from South East Europe. It aims at increasing the transparency of
the EU accession process and the participation of minorities and
vulnerable groups in it.
Please find attached the agenda for more information.
If you are interested and able to come, could you please send a
confirmation to Dalma Fabian on [email protected].
Best regards,
Galina Kostadinova
