Dear friends!
Once again thousands of people all over Europe spoke out against racism
and participated in the "European-wide Action Week Against Racism",
which took place from 17 March to 25 March 2007.
All the organisations address different issues using different
approaches. But there is one aim that summarieses all of them: action
against racism! As the last years have shown there is an enormous lot of
possibilities on how to focus on racist acts. Face the challenge and
point out contemporary racism in the fields of society!
UNITED brings all these activities together to one awareness-raising
campaign.
Moreover, in our European report about the European-wide Action Week
Against Racism 2007, we want to reflect all the different and creative
ways of taking part into the campaign and to highlight the issue of
racism on an European level.
.. and we need your help!
By sending any kind of material to UNITED, you can make the success of
the campaign even bigger and you can complete our picture of what
happened during the Action Week.
For that reason UNITED is starting a contest:
The five best photographs will receive a "One Race! Human Race!"
T-shirt!
To document the campaign in an affecting and interesting report please
send us:
1) newspaper-clippings on activities in your town/region/country (in any
language) - in original by post or scanned in good quality.
2) photos (in a good resolution to be printed, size � 1 MB)
3) posters, leaflets, flyers, stickers, postcards, logos...
4) short report about your event (in English language)
5) short report about racist developments in your country/region
You can send it via E-mail to [email protected] (preferably
scan your material) or via normal postal delivery to UNITED, Postbus
413, NL-1000 AK Amsterdam (we can send back originals)!
