Institute for Minority Rights at the European Academy Bolzano (EURAC)
looks for a scientific collaborator to reinforce our team in the area of
political science/international relations

Tasks and Responsibilities:

� Scientific collaboration for "protection of minorities in ethnic
conflicts" with emphasis on the Balkans and Newly Independent States 
� Support organizational work on the project 
� Collaborate on the MIRIS data base (Minority Rights Information
System) and the publications of the Institute


Requirements:

� University degree in political science, with preferential emphasis in
"international relations", "comparative political systems"
� Knowledge of policy making and history of the Balkans and Newly
Independent States 
� Working experience is an advantage 
� Outstanding knowledge of the English language (Written and Spoken) 
� Very good knowledge of one or several Slavic languages 
� Knowledge of German or Italian is an advantage.

The position is limited for a period of 2 years at the beginning.
