HUMAN DIMENSION SEMINAR
MIGRATION AND INTEGRATION
Warsaw, 11-13 May 2005

We are pleased to inform you that on 11-13 May, 2005 The OSCE ODIHR
organizes Human Dimension Seminar on the subject of "Migration and
Integration". The Seminar will be held in Warsaw, at "Sofitel Victoria"
Hotel, ul. Krolewska 11.
The aim of the seminar is to review concepts, challenges and best
practices related to integration of migrants into receiving society
across the OSCE region, including legal and socio-cultural aspects of
integration policies, participation of migrants in public life of a
receiving society, as well as inter- and intra-state co-operation
frameworks for protecting migrants and supporting their more efficient
integration.
The entire information package, including the annotated agenda,
timetable, organizational modalities and registration form will be
posted on ODIHR's website at http://www.osce.org/odihr.
We encourage those NGOs whose activities directly relate to the topic of
the Seminar and wish to attend, to register for this event on-line at
http://meetings.odihr.pl if at all possible. Alternatively, you may
return a completed NGO registration form by fax at + 48 22 520 06 03.
The registration will start around April, 11.
NGOs may display information materials about their organization on the
tables in the lobby of the main meeting room. NGOs may also distribute
documents during the Seminar by giving one copy of each document
(maximum 3 pages in length) to the staff of the Document Distribution
Centre. In addition, a fully equipped NGO room will be available during
the whole Seminar.
Unfortunately, the ODIHR is not in the position to provide any financial
assistance for NGOs to participate in this seminar. That is why we
decided to inform you in advance in order to give you extra time for
searching financial support. For your convenience, the list of hotels in
Warsaw and reservation forms will be posted on ODIHR's website. You are
kindly requested to make your own hotel arrangements.
