As the International Institute for Democracy will no longer publish the
'Clearing House Review', United for Intercultural Action is interested
in receiving information for its Calendar of Internationalism.
UNITED for Intercultural Action publishes the Calendar of
Internationalism which can be highly useful to all organisations and
individuals who are interested in anti-racism, anti-nationalism and
human rights as well as all those who would like to publicise their
planned activities in these fields.
The Calendar of Internationalism stands out as one of the most
comprehensive sources of information about upcoming events of interest
to anti-racists in the whole of Europe. The activities covered on the
pages of the Calendar include conferences, seminars, training courses,
meetings, performances, campaigns. Selected parts of the Calendar have
been re-published and re-used by magazines and other media outlets in
several countries.
Each entry consists of the title of the activity, its description and
contact details of the organizer. It serves as an inspiration to
potential organizers of similar activities in other countries and it
makes it possible for interested organizations and individuals to
participate in the events advertised in the Calendar.
Each printed edition of the bi-monthly Calendar contains information on
more than 100 activities concerning intercultural youth work,
anti-racism, migrants, refugees, minorities, anti-fascism, and related
fields. Around 2500 groups and institutions all over Europe have
regularly received the Calendar.
The Calendar is available on-line, too (www.unitedagainstracism.org,
click on 'calendar'). The on-line Calendar of Internationalism covers an
even larger number of activities. Since 2003 the Internet version has
been updated weekly and therefore it can be considered as an excellent
source of up to date information about activities organized at short
notice, too.
