HIGH BREAK UP IN THE ROMA PARTY
BUCHAREST The honorary president of the Social Democrat Party of Ethnic
Roma (PRDS), deputy Madalin Voicu, on June 14 handed in his public
resignation on the grounds that he cannot indulge to develop duplicity
attitude, considering the lack of loyalty of the Roma minority party
towards its ally, PSD ruling party. Politically speaking, I withdraw my
support to the organization you rule because the efficiency and the
reactions of the Social Democrat Party of Roma People are not only
unrealistic, but also confusing and inconsistent relating to the conduit
towards Roma electorate, as well as in the point of view of the
political understanding with PSD. This party succeeded in due time to
provide not only logistics but also positions and responsibilities to
the Roma ethnics, both in the countryside as well as centrally,
stressed Madalin Voicu in his letter addressed to PRSD chairman, Nicolae
Paun. Voicu was invited by the self-called King Florin Cioaba to get
enrolled in the Christian Center of Roma People.
