Call for Nominations
ASN Officers and Executive Committee Members

The Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN) invites nominations
for officers of the association (President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer,
and Secretary) and for executive committee members. Officers and
executive committee members are to serve for a three-year term
(2004-2007).  Nominations should be sent to the chair of the nominations
committee Mark Beissinger, Department of Political Science, 110 North
Hall, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI 53706 (email: 
beissinger@polisci.wisc.edu) prior to February 28, 2004.

ASN is a scholarly association devoted to the study of ethnicity and
nationalism in Europe and Eurasia with members in more than fifty
countries. Through its publications, annual convention, and conferences,
ASN brings together leading scholars, policy analysts, and policymakers
interested in the politics, economics, social relations, and history of
central and southeast Europe, Russia, Central Asia, and adjacent
