Dear colleagues,
As the incoming Academic Director of the Summer Course on Refugee Issues
at York University's Centre for Refugee Studies, I am writing to ask
your assistance in circulating our Summer Course Brochure in interested
friends and colleagues.
The Summer Course will be held in Toronto between the dates of May
17-25, 2003, inclusive.
Despite the difficult funding climate, the Summer Course for 2003 has
already secured basic funding. The agenda of offerings looks exciting
and I think we will be able to build on the base established in previous
years and to uphold the standards of excellent set by the Summer Course
under the leadership of the previous Academic Director, Prof. Sharryn
Aiken.
Thank you and best wishes for 2003.
