We live in precarious times - with 70 ongoing conflicts around the
world, fear of neighborhood violence, precarious global economic and
environmental conditions and daily reminders about countless other
injustices. But there are many organizations like yours working for a
better world. The One Day In Peace campaign is helping to bring
attention to many of our problems AND to the solutions.
 
This is a simple campaign with a tangible goal, but when we live in
peace for ONE DAY, we will see that peace IS possible (in our homes,
in our communities, and between nations) if we work together, one day
at a time.  With "peace on earth" as a priority for our global
community, we will be able to properly address all of the injustices
that endanger our future. During the CountUP to 2000 (and Beyond...)
we can make EVERY DAY COUNT for a better world.
 
The One Day In Peace campaign is led by a network of nearly 700
organizations & institutions in over 120 countries. Please join us -
there is no financial obligation to become a Co-Sponsor!
