To Britt Elliott

There is a bunch of reports on the Czech citizenship law and its effects on
the Roma minority in the Czech Republic. You might want to contact the
Prague-based Tolerance Foundation, for instance. Other reports have been
written by the UNHCR, experts appointed by the Council of Europe, the US
Helsinki Commission...

I myself have just recently completed a paper on Czech nationalism since the
split of Czechoslovakia - mainly examining Czech attitudes towards Roma and
the latter's severe discrimination by the majority society. I also included
a part on the Czech citizenship law arguing that it has been written and
passed with the intention to force Roma out of the new Czech Republic, it is
hopefully going to be published soon.

MY QUESTION: Is there a any kind of a research center focusing on
nationalism,in Canada? Or a department with such an area of interest?
