Publication: The Army and Society in Georgia


The e-mail bulletin 'The Army and Society in Georgia' is published in
Tbilisi by the Centre for Civil-Military Relations and Security
Studies founded in 1997 by the Caucasian Institute for Peace,
Democracy and Development. It aims to inform about the ongoing
military reform in Georgia.

The bulletin includes
- interviews with Georgian officials and politicians responsible for
state security and defence;
- information about the situation in conflict zones (Abkhazia, South
Ossetia) and military co-operation with foreign states;
- a press digest informing about articles on defence and security to
be found in the Georgian press.
