"Ziganskie westi" is the the 1st Roma magazine in Wolgograd edited by
the new "Association of Roma in Wolgograd". In the Wolgograd region
8000 (officially) till 80.000 (estimated) Roma live among them only
few with university degrees and without representation in Russian
government bodies. The Roma association assists its member with legal
aid and aims to publish an encyclopedia about the Roma people. (from
