ECMI is pleased to announce the publication of the book "Autonomies
Insulaires – Vers une politique de la différence pour la Corse?"
(Island Autonomies: Politics of Identity/Towards Politics of Diversity
for Corsica?) by Albiana in Ajaccio (in French).
 
This monograph is a collection of the papers presented at the
international seminar "Insular Regions and European Integration:
Corsica and the Åland Islands Compared" (Helsinki and Mariehamn, Åland
Islands, Finland), organised by the European Centre for Minority
Issues (ECMI)(Flensburg, Germany) in cooperation with the Åland
Islands Peace Institute (Mariehamn, Åland).
 
The book also includes an Introduction and Conclusion written by
Professor John Loughlin (School of European Studies, Cardiff
University of Wales), who was also one of the academic convenors of
the seminar.
