Briefing Note 15 . Second session of the Open-Ended Working Group

A quick note to let you know that the second session of the Open-Ended
Working Group of the PrepCom (i.e., the second inter-sessional) will
take place in Geneva at the Palais des Nations from 7-11 May 2001.
NGOs are welcome to attend and participate. To get credentials for
this meeting, send a fax (on letterhead and appropriately signed) to
Sarah-Jayne Brodier at (41-22) 917-9050 or 917-9056, providing her
with the names of the individuals to be accredited. Credentials are
picked up at the Villa les Feuillantines, Avenue de la Paix 13, Geneva
(close to the main entrance of the UN off the Place des Nations).

As of today, the Second Session of the PrepCom is still scheduled to
take place in Geneva from 21 May to 1 June 2001. To obtain credentials
for this meeting, please use the same procedure as that described
above.

Note that the NGO Liaison Unit is planning to have a one day NGO
workshop and training session on Sunday 20 May 2001 at Palais Wilson.
I will send you details of that next week.
