Dear MINELRES subscribers,

I would be highly interested to learn about provisions regarding the
dubbing (or subtitling) of TV broadcasts in European countries - and
even more specific in countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Poland,
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Yugoslavia,
FYROM, Albania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.

While I was living in Czech Republic and Hungary, it crossed my mind
that the practice of dubbing TV programmes (including all movies, of
course) could be relevant for an inclusivity index of national
minorities.

Your answers will be highly appreciated. I am interested specifically
in the year a national TV started operating, whether dubbing was
introduced from the very beginning or in what year and, if possible,
the name/date of the law/provision regarding it. Of course, access to
any research on this topic in any European country, online or not,
would be welcomed.
