CCSI's Internet Resources for Eurasia, 1999 Edition, Now Available
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Center for Civil Society International (CCSI) is pleased to announce
publication of the 1999 edition of its popular booklet, "Internet
Resources for Eurasia." Originally titled "Internet Resources for the
NIS," this fourth edition by Richard Upjohn is thoroughly revised and
up-to-date. Its 86 pages describe Web sites and e-mail lists in more
than 15 categories - e.g., Business, Environment, Funding, Law and
Human Rights, Media, Public Administration, Women, etc. - as well as
those which are region- or country-specific, e.g., Ukraine, Russia,
Central Asia, etc. A set of appendixes offer help with such issues as
using Cyrillic fonts on the Internet or using search engines most
effectively. There is also a four-page guide to scores of Internet
Access and Training Centers in Eurasia, grassroots facilities created
by IREX with funding from the U.S. government, the Soros foundations,
and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

"Internet Resources for Eurasia" is available immediately from CCSI in
Seattle or Wordsmiths Communications in Moscow. The price is $12.95
per copy, plus shipping and handling. (U.S. domestic S/H is $4.00;
contact CCSI or Wordsmiths for international rates.) Size: 86 pp.,
approximately 5 x 8 inches.

Coordinates for CCSI and Wordsmiths are as follows:
