Data on minorities in Romania


Dear all, 

This is to inform you about the materials on minorities in Romania
available at the web site of the Romanian Ministry of Education
(http://www.edu.ro/mino.htm). Most of materials are in Romanian. The
latest issue of the Ministry's Bulletin (No.4, 2000) is fully devoted
to the minotity issues, as far as I understood (the bulletin is mostly
in Romanian, too). At the moment the bulletin is not yet available
online, but hopefully it will be soon at http://www.edu.ro/bul00.htm.
Maybe our colleagues from Romania can make more detailed comments
about this web page and the bulletin. Enquiries could be sent to
[email protected].  

The bulletin is available by request from the MINELRES moderator (320
Kb in .doc). We would like to thank Florian Bieber for sending this
bulletin to MINELRES.
