Vacancy Notice
The Centre for OSCE Research (CORE) in Hamburg/Germany is seeking to
fulfill the vacancy for an experienced researcher with a UN and / or
OSCE field mission background for a two-year research project on:
Performance Records of UN and OSCE Field Missions of Varying Size: the
Cases of Georgia, Kosovo, the FYR of Macedonia and Tajikistan
The successful applicant will be based in Hamburg, a member on a team
of six researchers (two in Hamburg and one in each of the analysed
countries) and will be responsible for Georgia and Tajikistan.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in political science or related areas.
- Good command of English and Russian, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of German would be useful.
- Experience in a UN or OSCE multifunctional field mission.
- Managerial abilities (supervision of two researchers in Georgia and
Tajikistan).
Remuneration will be based on the German standard MTV II a.
