Art. 1

The buildings and the land running with them included in the annex -- which is integral part of the present government order -- and which belonged to the communities (organisations, religious cults) of citizens belonging to national minorities from Romania and became part of the property of the Romanian state by means of constraint, confiscation, nationalization or deceiving manoeuvres, are restored to the owners or their inheritors.

Art. 2

(1) The special committees for restoring, set up on the basis of Urgency Government Order no. 21/1997 about the restoring of some real estates which belonged to the Jewish communities from Romania, passed and amended by Law no. 140/1997, and on the basis of Urgency Government Order no. 13/1998 concerning the restoring of some real estates which belonged to the communities of citizens belonging to national minorities from Romania respectively, will verify the fulfilment of the conditions provided under art. 1, respecting the same procedure.

(2) The committee shall determine the inheritors within the communities who will recover the ownership of the claimed real estates and shall to complete, on the basis of identity documents, the documentation for each real estate separately.

Art. 3

The transfer of the ownership over the real estates pointed out in art. 1 shall take place at the time of signing the handing over-taking over protocols between the present holders of the real estate and the determined inheritors, with concrete reference to the rights of the present holders.
