ON THE AMENDMENT OF
THE LAW ON ELECTIONS TO THE SEIMAS

Article 1. Newly Revised Version of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Elections to the Seimas
The Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Elections to the Seimas shall be amended and set forth to read as follows:
"REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA
LAW ON ELECTIONS TO THE SEIMAS
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
5. Other direct or indirect abridgements of the right to vote of the citizens of the Republic of Lithuania on the grounds of their descent, political convictions, social or property status, nationality, sex, education, language, religion, or the type or character of their occupation shall be prohibited.
I promulgate this Law passed by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
